Jonathan D. Kovach

Experience

Jonathan Kovach has broad-based experience in building enclosure condition assessments, design peer reviews, field testing, investigations of new and existing structures, repair design, and construction phase services (CPS) for various building types to address deterioration of building enclosure materials, components, and systems. Since joining WJE in 2008, he has provided professional services for numerous projects involving the investigation of distress conditions and water infiltration in various building enclosure systems, including brick masonry, stone, terra cotta, windows, curtain wall, skylights, metal wall panels, roofing, and waterproofing. Mr. Kovach is also experienced in the evaluation, stabilization, and repair design of masonry and stone claddings and in quality assurance for new construction projects based on lessons learned from existing building troubleshooting.
